UkrLithiumMining LLC (ULM) is a Ukrainian lithium junior miner, developing Polokhivske hard rock deposit with petalite-containing ore

Opportunities

With life-of-mine of 15 to 20 years, and the estimated annual production of up to 300 thousand tonnes of petalite concentrate, the Company is also assessing a possibility to construct a lithium hydroxide/carbonate refinery at site.

Location

Regionally, the Polokhivske deposit is located in the central part of Ukraine (Kirovograd region) in an industrialized area in close proximity to railway and motor roads.

ULM’s favorable geographic location will make the company an attractive lithium supplier to the EU battery-chain players – at the lower end of the transportation cost curve.

Partnership & cooperation

AMC Consultants (UK) and Lycopodium (South Africa) are engaged by ULM as main contractors for the PFS. Geotechnical works are studies are currently underway.
ESIA study is underway led by North Coast Consultants (UK).
Anzaplan Dorfner Laboratory (Germany) is engaged for current round of metallurgical tests and Preliminary Economic Assessment for lithium refinery construction.
ULM has become a member of European Battery Alliance in 2020. We have also already had a first round of talks with Business Investment Platform within EBA – in terms of a business model, which may facilitate better search for investors.
